Jones plans on announcing his return today...

In what looks to be a wonderful day in the Bluegrass State as the Kentucky Derby is hours away, we also have the expectation of the return of Terrence Jones.  He has told his family and the coaching staff that he will be returning for UK for his sophomore season.   He is expected to announce this via twitter sometime today.  So for the twitter fans, if you are not following him do so at: TerrenceJones1. 

There are certain insiders out there claiming it's basically a 100% that he is coming back.  I do believe this is what Jones will announce today since it is what he has told his family and coaches but he could always change his mind.  Don't forget how Jones recruitment went.  He can tell people behind closed doors whatever he wants and then tweet something totally different later on...that's his right to do what he wants with his life.  He also did not find this decision to be easy, not one of those he is a 100% confident on...

It is the right decision to make so I hope for his sake and ours that he sticks with it.  With the lock out looming he does not need to be away from actual games for a season.   Jones would be drafted top 15 because of potential alone.  He needs to continue to develop his game and is a prime example of a player who would truly be hurt by going pro and there being a lock out.  Brandon Knight is not in this category. 

So be happy with this news but also realize that he hasn't made this news public and even he does he could always change his mind.  Sunday is the last day to be in the draft or out of the draft.
