Wow really...UK a 4 and Florida a 2???
You can chalk up the selection committee as being clueless. Looks like they either did not factor in UK's win today at all or they picked Florida to win it and left it as such...wow...
The SEC title stands for itself and is something to be proud about, but to realize that UK's seed was already set no matter what happened in this game is crazy.
The committee is acting as if they had it all figured out yesterday and chose not to change anything. If it really is that complex to change their draft with a UK win today, then they need to go to a simpliar system or the SEC needs to play their championship game on Saturday.
The way it looks is if UK not only is a 4th seed but the worst 4th seed, depending on how you look at it, since we will have to face the number one #1 in Ohio St. in the Sweet 16.
If in fact we are the worst 4th seed, then we go into SEC tourney ranked 15th in one poll, 16th in the other. We leave winning the SEC championship in dominate fashion and get the 16th spot??? That's got to urk you if in fact this is the worse 4th seed.
It doesn't look like Ohio St will have any problem getting to the Sweet 16. They will play the winner of George Mason and a Villanova team that has fallen apart.
It may not even be an easy road to the Sweet 16 as we will likely get West Virginia in the 2nd round. A revenge game for last year but against a team who has beat Vandy, Georgetown, Purdue, Notre Dame, UCONN and Louisville.
If we beat West Virginia, then find a way to upset Ohio St., then to get to the final four we will likely have to beat North Carolina...
This UK team was giving no breaks and has a tough road in front of them. Here's hoping they can get it done!
