With Vandy falling to Florida tonight, tomorrow's game has just added some additional interest. If Vandy would have won, then a UK loss would have given Vandy the #2 seed. Now with the Vandy loss, UT has something to really fight for. If they win, UT will come out of nowhere to receive the #2 seed. If they lose, they drop all the way to a 5th seed. If UK wins we will as well be the #2 seed. If we lose we drop only one spot to the 3rd seed but lose the important 1st round bye.
So it is the battle for the #2 seed on UT's Senior Night and what might be Bruce Pearl's last home game as UT's coach.
One good news for UK, is it looks like Brian Williams will be out for the matchup. Williams is a big body and a senior leader, who gives teams fits on the boards. UK is small when it comes to bigs with little depth. If in fact he is out, this will help in this area.
