Former UK legend and NBA player Walter McCarty has left Louisville to take on a similar assistant coaching position with the Indiana Pacers. It was always tough seeing former UK players on Louisville's bench, but them being Pitino's recruits and Pitino giving back to his players, it made sense.
Good luck to McCarty and here is to hoping he is not replaced by another former UK player...stay clear Mark Pope!
