The talk was that Pearl would follow suit of many well known coaches who are kicked out of their jobs and be a talking head at ESPN. Looks like that will likely not happen thanks to Bobby Knight apparently disliking him according to this source: Pearl not headed to ESPN
The fact that Knight has any power at all in the hiring department of ESPN is concerning but it is a crazy world. I also found that Knight who UK fans despise dislikes someone else UK fan's despise in Pearl and the enemy of our enemy is our friend...
