Don't fret Louisville fans football season isn't that far away...of course once they struggle in that, it will all be about basketball again...its an endless cycle. Of course Pitino insulted his own team by calling this season a bridge year, despite Louisville winning some games at home to give Card fans hope of a final four run...their true colors were shown today as they are truly a paper tiger.
Of course Card fans are making fun of UK's two point win over Princeton, claiming we have little room to talk. The difference is, UK is still standing and Louisville is not. A win is a win, survive and move on. Of course, what Cat fan wouldn't have loved to take it to Princeton like UK steamrolled through the first part of the tournament last year but you take the win and hope our young guys see this as a wake up call for the rematch against the Mountaineers.
At least Louisville won their conference tourney...oh wait. Well there's the conference season champs, nope...still no. Well at least they finished the season ranked higher than UK in the polls...oh no wait that didn't happen. How about beating us in their new fancy arena? What not that either. I know, I know what about hanging their hat like IU, classy coach? Oh yeah, they have Pitino...
Well what about football? At least they beat us in football right? No, that didn't happen either. Jeez what exactly have they done???
