ESPN is stating he is choosing between California, UK, Wake Forest, Texas and Gonzaga.
All I can say is if true then Cal has been busy today. When Wiltjer announced yesterday, he didn't have an official offer from UK and highly doubtful he made the announcement to commit to a school without an offer...
He may have wanted to put Cal under pressure to offer but was willing to commit elsewhere if it didn't happen...who knows...all I know is he loves UK but Cal has been telling him to hold off until they can tell how our guys do this season and to have a clearer picture on how many guys will be decking to the pros early.
I am fan of Wiltjer just because he would provide some stability with the program. A solid role player...how many programs can say that about 5 star recruits? We can't just have all one and done players our graduate rate of course would be nailed.
Wiltjer will be making his official announcement at the Boost Mobile Elite 24 event. This game is televised on ESPNU from 7:30-9:30 eastern. Except the announcement around 8:30...stay tuned...
