-In the recruiting world Cal has still not offered Daniels. Daniels told Cal if he was to offer, he would reclassify and commit. UK is concerned about the scholarship situation for the next season. He knows Daniels will offer some support this season but we are deep at the small forward position.
Daniels is also not likely to make the cut for UK in the 2011 class. We currently have no available scholarships as it is and it will take guys to deck early to open any spots. There will be some spots open up but I don't see Daniels being offered for 2011.
-Cincy native, currently in Bowling Green five star #23 Chane Behanan received an offer. He has wanted an offer from UK for sometime. There is some debate on why he would receive an offer in a class that we can afford to be so picky.
Behanan has sold Cal in a similar way Stacey Poole did. He sold Cal that he is a team player who loves UK and what Cal is doing. He wants to do whatever it takes to help out the team and will not be causing issues with being recruited over.
Of course this was Behanan's sales pitch...will it turn out, time will tell. The question is will Cal take a commitment right now from him or make him hold off. I can't say any names but there are mutlple 2011 guys who have tried to commit to UK and Cal has told them to hold off.
UK believes Quincy Miller is a Baylor lean and Behanan is Louisville's back up plan if Miller goes elsewhere. Louisville will be royaly ticked if they lose out on plan A & B and plan B was a loss to UK...
We are only nine days away from UK vs. Louisville on Saturday Sept. 4th. My birthday is the following day and all I want is a UK win!
