Wroten commitment soon?

Cal was very impressed with Wroten in Germany, so much so an official offer will likely be coming soon.  Wroten loves UK and would be quick to commit if given an official offer.  He has claimed in the past he has an offer but what UK has told him if he waits an offer will likely come soon...that is not quite an offer.

The only monkey wrench to this situation is Austin Rivers.  UK has picked up some interest in Rivers and we may receive an official visit to UK.  If Cal believes he has a decent shot at Rivers he will likely not offer Wroten at this point and tell him to wait. If Cal and Rivers continue to be in good shape, no commitment from Wroten to UK will come.  As soon as Rivers and UK do not seem to be working out, then Wroten will be offered.

Bottom line is if Wroten commts it is because UK did not like their chances with Rivers.

There has been some talk about 4 star Trevor Lacey.  He has been told the same thing as Wroten, to hold off on committing anywhere.  He currently seems to be plan C for the same scholarship spot.  The only way I can see him being offered is if Wroten isn't willing to wait and commits to Washington, then we lose out on Rivers.
